Category:Killearn Poker Tour
The Killearn Poker Tour (or KPT) was the name of the loosely-organized group of poker players in Tallahassee who met regularly every second Saturday at Jon & Ro Reddick's house in Tallahassee, Florida between 2001-2007.
Derivation
The name was a play on the World Poker Tour, a televised series of international poker tournaments featuring most of the world's professional players.
World was replaced with Killearn after the name of the Reddicks' subdivision in Tallahassee, "Killearn Acres."
Folding
Upon moving to Jacksonville in April 2007, the KPT was effectively disbanded, with many of its regular players migrating to George Sumpter's regular game under the group name, Pakledvision Poker or PVP.
The Reddicks formed a new league in Jacksonville, the Mandarin Poker Tour.
