REDdimension Wiki Circle member Kevin McNulty loves to travel. Some of his more memorable trips include the following.

Kevin has visited 16 states plus Washington, DC.:

    • Fresno - on vacation, the trip included the Sequoia National Forest which included "General Sherman" the largest living thing on the planet
    • San Francisco - on two ocassions, one in high school with the wrsetling team, and one in college to see an old friend
  • Connecticut
    • Danbury - to visit family.
  • Florida
    • Fort Lauderdale - for a Star Trek Convention
    • Fort Myers - to catch the boat to Key West
    • Gainseville - only because he had to
    • Jacksonville - for a Star Trek Convention
    • Key West - on business
    • Live Oak - for renaissance faire
    • Miami - for a business conference
    • Ocala - to help friends move
    • Palmetto - Clan McNulty's current residence - see "Tampa Bay Area"
    • Panama City Beach - on several ocassions for business and pleasure
    • Pensacola - on several ocassions to visit the Naval Aviation Museum
    • St. Augustine - America's Oldest City - for work and for sightseeing
    • Tallahassee - Clan McNulty lived there for 11 years
    • Tampa Bay Area - Clan McNulty has worked/lived here for past four years - see "Palmetto"
  • Georgia
    • Climax - on several ocassions to visit girlfriend (no pun intended)
    • Columbus - for SFMC business with the USS Khai Tam
    • Thomasville - on several occassions for pleasure, onec to run a 10K
    • Valdosta - on several occassions for business and to vist Wild Adventures amusement park.
  • Hawaii
    • Oahu - on vacation, visited USS Arizona Memorial, and went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay
    • Maui - included day-sail to Lanai
    • Kauai - included helicopter flight into extinct volcano
  • Maryland
    • Baltimore - on business, but also saw USS Constellation and one of Debbi's childhood friends

  • Massachussetts
    • Boston - in 1995, Kevin met up with his father and a friend in Boston for a turn-around cruise on the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned ship in the US Navy. They also travelled the historic Freedom Trail, saw the Holocuast Memorial, and hit an Italian street fair in the North End. Kevin and his friend Doug even enjoyed martinis and cigars at the Bostonian Hotel overlooking downtown.
  • Minnesota
    • Minneapolis - on business in 2006. While there, he was was able to visit the nation's largets shopping mall, Mall of America.
  • Mississippi
    • Jackson - for an SFMC conference during his days with the USS Khai Tam.
  • Nevada
    • Las Vegas - on two occassions: one for his 21st birthday, once with wife Debbie
    • Reno - once during college to visit a friend
  • New York
    • New York City - Kevin's parents took him to New York City for his 9th-Grade Graduation. He was lucky enough to have stood at the top of the World Trade Center, as well as the Empire State Building. He also visited the Statue of Liberty, the United Nations, and Rockerfeller Plaza.
    • Long Island - to visit family members and friends

    • Arlington - a business trip/conference
  • Washington
  • Washington, DC - Kevin was able to travel to Washington DC on business in 2003. He made the most of his off time, though, including getting to fulfill his dream of visiting the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. In 1992, on a business trip to Fort Meade, MD, Kevin was able to take a quick side trip to Washington to see the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial and Georgetown. His most indelible memory of the trip, though, was his viist to the Vietnam Memorial.

International Destinations

Kevin has visited four different countries:

  • Canada
    • Calgary - Kevin travelled with his roommate, Kata, to Calgary, Alberta for the 1988 Winter Olympics. There they saw:
      • Bonnie Blair win two gold medals and set a world's record in speed skating.
      • The Jamaican bobsled team in the two-man event
      • Germany vs. Sweden in hockey
    • They also and made good friends with locals Brad and Marty. Brad and Marty travelled to California for Kev and Deb's wedding and Deb and Kev returned the favor in 1989 when they travelled to Alberta for their one year anniversary.
    • Edmonton - to see the West Edmonton Mall (the world's largest
    • Banff National Park - to the Columbia Ice Field where Deb and Kev climbed the Athabasca Glacier.
  • England - Kevin's parents very generously arranged for a week in London for his college graduation.
    • London - While there he saw Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the National Theatre, Westminster Abby, Piccadily Circus, and even fed the pigeons in Trafalgar Square. He saw Cats during its original run in the West End. He was even there for the "Queen's Birthday" parade where he saw the entire Royal Family, including then Princess Diana. His most memorable moment there, though, was watching the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London, a priviledge for which his father had obtained tickets for months in advance.
    • Salsbury Plain - He also made a day trip in Salsbury Plain where he saw Salsbury Cathedral and Stonehenge.

  • Jamaica - Kevin and Debbie honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Couples resort. While there they visited Dunn's River Falls and the Ocho Rios Market, as well as soaking up the sun (and the free drinks...and the buffets) at the resort.
  • Mexico - Though some would argue that Tiajuana doesn't really count as Mexico, the US Border Patrol feel differently, and Kevin has been to Tiajuana a handful of times.
