'''Father & Son Day''' is a hybrid celebration created by the family of [[Kenneth Reddick, Sr.|Ken]], [[Sharon Reddick|Sharon]], and son [[Jon Reddick|Jonathon]] which would sometimes consolidate Father's Day and Jon's birthday into a single event.

It became an unofficial custom to combine Father's Day and Jon's birthday together. Often one cake was made which read ''Happy Father & Son Day'', and cards and gifts were given to both Ken and Jon during the same celebration. Despite the apparent equality given to the two days being observed, Ken & Sharon always put the most focus on Jon, so the combination was never minimized his birthday, but rather added to it.

==Evolution==
Father & Son Day was predominately celebrated early in Jon's childhood. Once Jon had started school and had a group of friends, his birthday and Father's Day became their own autonomous events.
