B. J. Honnicat was the first family cat of [[Clan McNulty]]. A huge Maine Coon Cat, B. J. ruled lordly over the clan household for several years.

==Life==
In 1988, Debbie brought B. J. home as a kitten with a bow around his neck as a surprise gift for Kevin when they lived at [[Andrew Jackson Street]]. Kevin named him after the character in ''M*A*S*H'', B. J. Honnicut.

He was a stereoptypically fat-and-happy cat who alternately loved and tolerated the McNultys and their dog, [[Sheeba]]. Debbie and Kevin were actually able to train him to sit, sit-up, and wave, but only if there was food involved. In 1989, the McNulty's got another cat, [[Alex]], but B. J. faced the addition with resolve, never relinquishing his status as top cat to the new pretender to the throne. They became playmates, but Alex always respected B. J.'s status.

==Death==
B. J. was hit by a car in 1998 during a two-year period which marked the death of every pet the clan had when they arrived in Tallahassee in 1991.
